I have noticed a lot of fishing going on along the causeway there at Strattford. Whats all the excitement about over there?

Probably walleye fishing, they'll fish there with jigheads and plastic worms to catch them in that area.

Yes Deltadog thats what they are after. They fish from Alder Street bridge area and the railroad bridge for spawning walleye. Its kind of a touchy situation with a lot of the local walleye guys because they do take quite a few of the spawners out but the flip side is that not everyone has a boat and can catch walleye during the rest of the year. So I guess as long as they abide by all the rules and regs nothing can be said about taking the big female brood stock.
