Well I hooked 5. all drifting eggs. All but one were snagged, I only landed 2 both snagged both big ugly bucks. Of course they were turned loose, one of them was probably the biggest steelhead I have ever caught. Not much else going on one guy had what looked like a spawned out hen. I felt pretty sick after that many snagged steelhead so I bailed.

And then I went to my favorite river and caught this nice hen on a float and eggs. When I first saw her I was gonna keep her. when I got her in tho She was really close to losing her eggs And I suspected they were loose. But she was chrome so I held her up just to see her good and see if I should keep her when she flipped out of my hands and took off like a rocket! lol

Nice going Crank. I just wish I had time to fish. I hate having to be respondsible at work. I miss my days of just about living on Tokul. I had a sweet deal parking in the hatchery lot. My best friend lived right trhere in a home with his family. Wed catch go to his house to clean the fish and refridgerate till we went home. I still park at their house . Those pics are gorgeous looking fish. Nice job my friend....besides I get real tired of seeing Matts 1000 fish. Hehehehe... Just teasing Matt....
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Ok Ok no more pics crank till Im able to get out and start catching fish again. Its killing me seeing this. I did get out today to two different rivers that Ive never fished. One Ill never fish again and the other I need to do some more work on. There is some promise there. However I was skunked at both. I didnt see any fish caught at all today other then a sucker. But I got to see some beautiful scenery. I wish I brought my camera.
More fish please!

Really? One, I know better to not to remove a Native fish out of the water. Two, I know better not to remove a Native fish out of the water.

I paid blood catching this fish.. go to my FB and read the story.

Every hatchery fish I've pulled from that particular river seems to be cut that way. An unclipped, wild, native, whatever you want to call it, fish, will have an actual fin, these all just have a nub with no flappy portion. (like my scientific terms?)

See how big an intact fin actually is? (I don't know who this is in the picture, just googled 'steelhead adipose')

Yeah I know wasn't trying to start anything was just wondering. Just seems that they are getting lazy at cutting fins properly.

I have seen a few like that this year too. Don't they run em through a machine to clip em? Thought I read something like that.
