Anyone ever try the River 2 sea Swimbaits?

Hey just wonderin if any of you use the River 2 Sea, Bossy Mark or the S-Waver swimbaits? I picked up a couple and wanted some info on them.
The first one is the 240 mm Bossy mark in the baby bass patterm and bottom one iis a 168 mm S-Waver in Stocked trout

I haven't tried them yet. I got my son one of their glide baits, and probably will go get myself the up-sized model before spring. They look very good. Prices are reasonable as well. I can't wait to try them!

I got a chance to fish one of the 168 mm S wavers a little last year in the Kokanee color and I had some good hits on it, but lost it to a big fish. They have a killer Action !!!!!! It swims slowly from side to side about a whole foot.
The 240 mm = about 9 1/2" for the Bossy Mark baby bass on top. Got it off Ebay for about $25 with shipping
the 186 mm = about 6 5/8" for the S-waver trout, also off Ebay 16. 99
The S-Waver comes in 2 sizes the 168 mm (6 5/8") I have and a 120 mm (4 3/4") that should be a killer bass lure. I have heard they are bringing out more colors of the S-Waver this spring to include firetiger and perch patterns. I'm suppose to get some proto types when they come out and if I do I will post them here.

This is the one I got early last week with a gift card, thanks again Mike. It's a 'slow sinking'. It's my first ever swim bait. 6" long, couple oz. Can't wait until March to try it.

AMX, that looks like a BBZ and it is great trust me. I like the bbz 6 inch fast sink.

As far as the river to sea swimbaits go fish-n-fool, They are great but the fins break off easy which dont bother the bass none. The floater chambers do slowly fill with water once they are taken under. I have two in the garage that I gotta try and drill a small hole and fill in.

Yup, BBZ 1 jr. I'll have to try some of that fancy line now, florocarbon I think is the stuff that sinks. I've only used mono for the past 50 plus years, and haven't seen a reason to change. Until these swimbaits anyway. :-)

River2Sea makes some awesome baits, and the S-Weave and the Bossymark are two of my favorites. Following are two sites to get you going.

The anglers-experience is the AX tackle.com site. Seth is a stand up guy, a fishing show host, and a great fishermen. You will see if you go to his web site (http://www.anglers-experience.com/) and "troll" around for some time, that he uses River2Sea a lot.

Seth got me started on the S-Weave a couple of years ago, and for what it is worth, it has caught Rainbow and Brown Trout, Large and Small mouth Bass, Pike, and Tigers for me. I believe that it can catch anything that swims.

The Bossymark is one that if you use steel leaders it will "strip" the fins off. That is OK, the fish don't care. I use 20 pound MONO and fish it for night Walleye. Ya, you saw right, I use both for night Walleye. Some serious large fish have nailed those two baits for me.

The V-Joint Minnows are also awesome. The finish on the V-Joints is not quite as tough as the others, but it is tougher then most baits I have used in the last few years.

All three of those baits are tough as nails. Just last Saturday a friend hammered the S-Weave of shore rock after shore rock and never even left a nick.

As for colors, well if they have new colors coming out on the S-Weaves, I will be a happy fisherman.

AMX, I am changing back to MONO for my swimbaits. I prefer a little extra stretch of MONO when I get a seldom but inevitable backlash (doesn't pop it off). Also, it seems to delay my hook set until the fish has taken the bait.

That's why I never went to that fancy stuff like steel braid, cotton braid, floro and such. They all have problems with knots holding, having to use super glu, stiff line, coils and all. Mono has worked just fine-to-great for all these many years. I'll try it with mono at first, then decide if I need to try florocarbon.

And the wear and tear on the rod guides do to the braids being more abrasive than mono. And floro being more suseptible to breakage do to nicks from structure/rocks, etc..

I now use 60 lb Yo-Zuri fluoro for leaders tied with a Crazy Alberto knot to 65 lb. braid and have ended all my problems I was having, I use the Fish-N-Fool knot with 4 wraps to tie the lure to the fluoro. With these 2 knot properly tied you will not have a knot failure Had no lost fish this year when I started using this setup. You don't need any steel leaders or super glue. Yah the line is stiff, but if you use a snap so you baits work freely to is no problem.

So Anglinarcher what source are you quoting from and when were you told this?

I was told when I called to them about 2 monthes ago that they were bringing out some new colors. I also requested more colors and was told the would be adding a perch pattern and firetiger at least. They said they should be out about early April. I'm suppose to recieve some of the prototypes when they come out, so we shall see.
