Thank you. Do you realize that there were 11 pages of mostly talk and no pictures. I Guess Steelhead are the fish of a 10000 words instead casts.

Has anyone had any luck fishing Reiter in the evenings? Are the crowds still insane like on the weekends during evening hours during the week? I went to Reiter Sunday and at 7am the lot was full and half way up the road! No where to fish unless you wanted to stand on someones shoulders to cast. Crazy.

Sunday at Reiter was brutal - that constant cold wind is a killer! Went right through you and made casting and line mending a pain!
Between sunup and noon only saw 4 fish caught on each side. One of em being MINE  At least from what I saw they were all smaller fish this time - mine was about 6# and I didn't see any that were over 8# caught.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Thanks guys! One good thing about working part time is more fishing time, I've been able to go out during the right times.

The runs over Matt no need to get off your duff!

Sorry Toni - I didn't have my camera with me at the river and by the time I got home I had been awake for about 30 hours due to pulling a night shift Saturday night, so totally forgot. I can take a pic of some nice vac-packed fillets if you like [thumbup]

Yes please! Unless you skin them? Silver side up. This thread needs more pictures.

The expression on his face in the first pic says it all..... that thing MIGHT be a "little" bit heavy.
