Well its better then I was getting my last few expeditions of salmon and steelhead fishing.

No absalutely not. You cant play fair can you. Always the exception for Jens. Oh can we count this Oh can we count that. I mean cmon man. THats like joel asking if we will count fish sticks as part of his daily catch. ha

Great pics Nate! I guess I will have to wait another day or two to hit up reiter again. On a side note I am not sure why anyone would even try to fish in that... but to each his own I guess.

hahaha, yea, it was pretty scary. there were surges in the water, and waves on the shore that were like a foot tall. I brought my pole,but I went to take photos, not fish.

Shhh, its a secret. WDFW just reopened the top four miles of the Stilly, including Fortson. I know, I know, Forston is often crowded but it aint bad during the week. The run must be decent if they got all the fish they need. I'll be hitting it tomorrow.

Re-open North Fork Stillaguamish River to fishing Re-open
Action: Re-open portion of North Fork Stillaguamish River.
Effective date: Dec. 16, 2010.
Species affected: All game fish.
Location: North Fork Stillaguamish River, downstream of the Swede Heaven Bridge approximately 4 miles to the French Creek confluence.
Reasons for action: The Whitehorse Hatchery facility hatchery winter steelhead broodstock needs have been met.

Midway thru dec and they have winter brood stock quota? Yeah Id agree with Matt on this closure. Man the puyallup though. I hope there was no steelies comming up river today. I was driving on river road and they was netting the heck outta that river. I seen 12 boats and several 200-300 gallon totes. And the fish was just being tossed around. They put a killing on this river today.
More fish please!

Jeez... that really puts me in a mood seein that sheesh. I'm stoked about the stilly though, sounds like it was a big needless scare.
