There is a "Rocky Point" at Loon Lake, but that's been guessed before.

You're dead on. Yea, it's a 180 degree pano, with a lot of straight lines in it. It get's distorted like that with the fish eye effect.

Correct. Didn't expect it to be so quick. The burned out section is a pretty good give away. You been up Mad river trail before?

I've hiked up there before too, it's really cool. the burn out was really neat to be in. I don't remember where we went but it was a pretty steep hike. It'd be cool if there were some lakes to hike to there, give me something to go back for.
