Post by curado » Mon Feb 04, 2008 4:52 pm

perfect topic

KING: 35+ pound C&R on Skykomish river last year
COHO:10 pound wallace river last year
PINK: 7 pound area 8-2 last year
CHUM: 18 pound last year skykomish
STEELHEAD: 9 pound cowlitz river

All the salmon were caught this last year. The king was caught on 8lbs line and pink jig while fishing for humpys. This last year my parents and friends parents droped us off on the river. so i fished the rivers alot more and learned a lot by my self.

A 32 inch bass would absolutely obliterate the state record, If it had any girth at all it would be well over 15lbs

I know, people have told me that after I caught it. I don't usually bass fish and I don't eat 'em so I let it go thinking it was just a giant bass. I had no idea what the state record was and I'm still kicking myself for not having proof. Believe me or not, it's up to you, but it happened. But on the bright side, I know exctly where I caught it and you can catch it now too! It was this year, so it's probably still alive.

and then shut us all up.
A 76 pound king is a dinosaur
compared to our 12-15 pound (average) kings
that we catch.

I re-sized a picture for a guy on another website of his Kenai salmon he caught in July 2010. It was 76 lbs. He ended up getting his picture in I think the STS mag. with all the hawgs.

It was almost as big as him and in the picture it looked as if he could fit his head in its mouth. It was a monster. They are there.
