~Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
~My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
I talked to a guy named Old Ben Kinobi earlier today. He told me "There is no rain in the Puyallup or any of the areas around it. The run is in fact over. These are not the Kings you're looking for."

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
I can do wind as long as it is below 10mph
RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
I made it my goal this summer to hit the puke at least once before school starts. I have never fished for salmon in a river before, so its a big deal for me. Unfortunately, school starts this thursday. Should go up there soon. I still don't have any waders either so its going to be even longer to get fishing.

Just got home from Mt.Rainier, crossed the Puy,a decent crowd on hand down there. Not overpacked
by any means but certainly more anglers down there than a day before. I would have stopped and chatted
but my son was sleeping and decided to push on home. Jens, you gonna be my river guide this year?:-" haha

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
I was there for 5 hours today and caught nothing. The water is really muddy right now from all the rain it probably needs a day or two to clear. I saw a few fish rolling when it started to get dark but only one guy out of about 30 caught anything.
RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
It took until last night for it to rise and look at what it did. Oopps make that early this morning.

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
I just looked at a couple of other rivers, most look like they might be a little couldy with how quick they rose. Butr doesn't mean you can't catch fish.
RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
not like the puke has ever has more than a foot or two visibility anyhow, still worth fishing it.
Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga, except i still get to kill something.

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
Hit the puyallup for a few hours this a.m. before work. Man, it was high! Be careful out there. Lots of logs comin' downriver. Didn't get any fish but the guy next to me got a nice chrome silver. They're in there, and in the coming weeks the push should get a little heavier. Just gotta put the time in to get 'em.
When times get tough, just keep on fishin'!!!

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
Puke never has more than a few inches of visibility unless it's deep winter, and that's not when it's open anyway. The 'mud' is silt from the carbon and puyallup glaciers. Don't let it deter you.

RE:RAINING AT THE PUKE!
Spent a few hours there this morning. Not a bit for me but saw 3 hooked and 2 netted behind the kmart in puyallup.
