Haller lake, 125th and 3 blocks west of Aurora. Decent for large M. Bass, Bitter lake, 130th and 2 blocks West of Aurora, decent for largies also. I think haller is better... and neither one is what I would call GREAT, but they are in there, and now is the time. 5" Senkos wacky rigged, and top water frogs.

Echo lake behind Costco. ( Wouldn't bother with it) but that is just my opinion. I also don't care for Ballinger, but some people do.

me and dawgfish are looking for a small lake for trout with a boat launch electric motor on a 14' boat thank you for the input The Quadfather

Try Martha lake (the one on 164th Street, 2 blocks East of I-5) It's a little N. but only 10-12 minutes. Some good size Brown trout.
