Post by tnj8222 » Sun Apr 11, 2010 6:53 am

Got one for sale or trade? I have several pontoons. That are brand new. A back pack pontoon with everything needed to hike in somewhere and fish very nice. Also have a really nice pontoon style float tube never been used. Got lots of rods reels and tackle as well.

just need a good trolling motor.

If I'm gonna buy a new one it would be from auburn sports. Can't support wal-mart with that much money.

I just received Cabela's "Gear-up" sale flyer. It is dated April 15th through the 25th. On page 4 they are advertising a package price of 199.99 for the Minn Kota Endura 45 stern mount electric trolling motor and Minn Kota 105 portable charger (a 59.99 value).

what about the Traxxis models? It's only slightly more and they toot that better battery life. And can you go in reverse in either the Traxxis or Endura trolling motors?

If you have the option to get the one with the Digital Maximizer (MinnKota) or the other digital technology from MotorGuide, Get the digital. Your batt will last a lot longer on a charge. Especially if you use the troller a lot or of its your only motor.

I have a 50 transon and a 55 bow. The 55 transom is analog and will suck the life out of the batt in less than half the day under heavy use. The bow WITH Digital Maximizer, runs all day.

I have an Endura 40 lb for $75.
Very good condition, new brushes and a cleaned up armature through Anglers Choice.
