This sucks. Wish I had not walked past the TV and seen this on the news. I'll be giving my 8yr old an extra big hug when I pick him up from school tomorrow!

Just walked into the house from fishing, kid's brother said the kid climbed in and untied the rope and lifted away, now balloon landed with no kid.

Hope they find the little guy hiding somewhere scared because he let daddy's balloon go.

This story is local for me and it seems there was a basket attached to the bottom the kid climbed into and it took off the basket was reported to be seen falling from over 5,000'.... It doesn't look good:-&

I don't know about any of you guys, thank god they found him, but when I was his age, I was playing with matches and burned down the neighbors fence. Luckily no one was hurt, but I hid for 6 hours until someone found me under my friends bed.

They found the kid hiding in the attic. Was on NWCN a few minutes ago.

I was gonna say they found him hiding in a box in the attic.

They laughed.
They cried.
They threatened to punish him.
They offered him icecream...
And all the kid will say is "ET wanted to go home"
