OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know whether to go to the hospital for a check up,, or take my 3rd shower for today! Good lord it's hot here in Pugetropolis. (Seattle)
I've got a thermometer reading 95 deg. in the shade at 8:00 pm. I am the guy that everybody knows who will hike up a mountain, and never break a sweat, but right now I can't sit on anything.

If you've got your own thermometer, give us a report.:shaking2: :shaking2: :shaking2: :shaking2: :shaking2:

Ahhh, suck it up people. Coming from living in Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley down in Cali, this is nothing. Great weather to me. Right now down there it's over a 100 with highs over 115. Talk about not being able to do anything. Only down fall to up here compared to down there is not many houses have A/C. Get some fans and chill out. Get a bunch of ice and throw it in a tub and sit in it. Oooyaaa!
Get those sprinklers going and run in them. This will only happen for a couple days out of this year so try and enjoy them. If I can figure it out I'll throw up a video of a 100+ft slip-n-slide I put together this weekend. I'll start working on it.

Fish/life, Very Very cool! That looked like you taking a run? Me... I did what anybody with the fishing sickness should do... I grabbed the beach rod and went down to the beach. Key thing was that I left the waders at home. Buzz bombs, = 1 mystery fish tonight... too dark to see him.
:-" I'm so spoiled though, and such a fishing snob... I go to this beach a couple days a week at 6:00 am, of course only myself and maybe Gringo. Tonight there must have been 80 people, dogs, rock throwers!! romancers, etc. etc.
Can't stand that atmosphere:-$

78 degrees outside, 81 degrees inside at 7:30am (Newport Hills)

Me thinks that we will be sleeping in the air conditioned camper for the next couple of days.

The heat doesn't bother me nearly as much as it does the rest of the family. I've run throughout the summers in some of the hottest places on the planet and my run yesterday wasn't all that bad. I remember my first 3 weeks in Bahrain during August 1990, where it didn't get below 100 during any part of the day. You never really slept, I think we just passed out for a few minutes at a time, now that was hot!
