the grind of sorting the fishing gear

So we're moving outta state, to someplace with better opportunities and much simpler regs, and now I'm going through a garage packed with gear. Luckily i know the area we're going and I can adapt a lot of stuff but just sorting through it all and packing let alone deciding of it's worth taking is so much of a grind [blink] If I would've known I'd have gone way easier on the swapmeets and discounts bins :-"

I hear ya on that Spokey.. I have to do these grand-sorting moments, where I make piles of stuff to give to friends, and piles that are purely thrown away. If I ever actually sell something and ship it, then I usually pack in a whole bunch of extras just to get rid of things.

Sorry to see you moving. You’ve always had good input on things in the forum. [thumbsup]

Best of luck there! It is a bit silly here in ‘Pacific Northwestern California’ at times. Not sure I want to hear how good it is in Arkansas! [biggrin]

It's not that good honestly. Last time I was down there the weather was cool and the blegills where a bit sluggish...so when I took the kiddo down to a drainage ditch to drink around, we only caught like 30 in an hour. The smallest was 4in and her biggest was about a foot long

I might be stretching the truth a bit about the hoarding...I bought 4 rods and shipped them to the in laws house last night, just to get a head start once i get there lol.
