OHHHH how I have missed waking up on Saturdays and being able to watch multiple different college football games, I LOVE watching college football. Especially when Huskies plays but I hate the ducks and cougs haha. I have always found college football is more excited to watch because the players try harder. just my opinion lol. Lots of exciting stuff going on with the new PAC 12 and maybe the PACK 16 in a couple years? that would be awesome! I am super excited, I get to go to UW vs Hawai'i tomorrow!! :bounce: :bom: I love Husky Stadium!!

I didn't know the Cougers played football.

My Eastern Washington Eagles gave Udub a good scare at home last weekend. Im rooting for both teams from this point on.

My wife being a husky, and my brother inlaw a cheerleader at UW I enjoy a good college game every once in a while. We don't have cable, so we watch 'em with the inlaws. Always more fun than pro games, because there can be more surprises, with the pros you pretty much know who's going to win. College games are less perfect.

I don't keep up with it anymore though. It's been a while, does WSU really have a football team? That sure comes as a surprise to me.

Is someone making a football collage for us all to look at?

Now now Matt. Actually since it was spelled correctly in the body of their text, maybe you have a point and they meant it to be a collage? A colage of Huskys and Cougers mite intrest sum.

Sure remember that 1985 Orange Bowl and of course the 1990-1991 season with Emtman and the D (89-90 was some nasty D too m,inus that UCLA game I think). Lots of good OLD college football memories. Hope we get some more updated ones before long

Ya they did, but EWU is a strong team. That was are first game with the new qb. but real good game in the end UDUB gets the W

Looks like it will be a long season for Husky fans if you are celebrating a close win over the Eastern Eagles. They are a strong team like you say but they are strong in a lesser confrennce and at a lesser level. We East siders are very proud of the Eagles and the effort they put forth against the Huskies. We expect them to do well again this year in their division and compete for another national championship. I am a Cougar fan as well and I like seeing the Huskies do well also, but I wouldn't have been beating my chest after the Eastern game if I was a Husky. What's next, a victory over a junior college? LOL Just having a little fun here. NO offense to anyone intended. Go Huskies, Go Cougars, and GO EAGLES!!

Yes it was a close win, yes Eastern is a lower division. But if you think about it th emajor factors that make a team a lower division is school size and money. Lower division teams have the same ages with higher divisions and just as many skilled players. Also it was the first game with the new QB. I dont know if you watched them play Hawai'i but UW played way better, the QB played a lot better and all around the team worked more as a team. Give UW more experience and they will continue to get better. And going into the game UW fans knew it would be a tough game because Eastern is a STRONG team and their QB was better.
