If a person gets sick on a carnival ride, then they shouldn't buy a ticket. I personally don't ride that roller coaster. One should only invest if they can afford to lose it. Until the world economies becomes more stable, the markets will swing up and down.

Property used to be a sound and safe investment. Now that is even dropping. A tin can buried in the back yard may be the safest place.

( she might be in for a trip to the wood shed...and not for fun this time !!!)...stuck enough cash in a acct to cover all the bills for a few months and brought home 'n stashed a pile just incase....

so when i started this thread it was to start a convo on something i'm interested in.. maybe with other folks that watch the news and such...folks that cant stumble and mumble their way through life not "KNOW'N" nuthin about nuthin (my fellow voters<rolls eyes>) because they dont ever watch/read the news ...on the grounds that its all bad news ... or ALL the broadcasts are bias...or just plain BS...LORDY..

I have enjoyed the original "Wow" thread, but I must have missed something regarding why you are upset over the "Wow 2" thread. If I recall it was something about how those with the $$$ tend to look after their own interests, or something of the sort.
That didn't seem to be any new information to me. Although I never have understood why it is that people get up in arms about across cashola lines.... the wealthy talk smack about many of the poor. Claiming they are ripping off the benefit system. The poor so many times talk smack about the wealthy as if they only look out for themselves.
In the end, I believe that both corners are stereotyping often.

aaaanother rumor i heard/read was the the ECB might issue bonds to help fund the loaning of cash to the poor countries that are too screw'd up to barrow anymore money to pay their debts !?!?!?

so the EURO meeting yday....France 'n Germany said no.... not going to put in more cash in the bail out fund(not what theyre call'n it) that it already has enough in it !!they also said that they were concidering creating a new EURO wide bond to help cover all the bail outs..bond troubles in all the EU countries ect(monetize their debt) (can you say QE2 ?) ... it'll be managed by the ECB since they've been do'n such a STERLING (get it?) job manage'n their affairs lately ..
France also announced they are working on a system to charge a fee/tax on every transaction/trade on their version of the DOW... seems theyre still mad about some machine traders that did some pretty fancy wheel'n 'n deal'n a while bk...only took 'em a few days...and some trades that only took milisecs to suuuuuuck some billions rrright outta the markets O-:...
