Pigskin pick em Week 7
Gents - you all were too kind once again, allowing me to get two in a row! My only miss was the Cards losing to the Panthers, a game the Cards definitely needed in order to stay up on the Hawks.
Week 7's games are kinda weak but I went with seven that are somewhat interesting....and I included the Chiefs for Cavdad's enjoyment. They absolutely thrashed the Bengals on Sunday! That was awesome!!!
Rams @ Seahawks (Seahawks, even they can beat the Rams)
Steelers @ Broncos (I have to pick my Steelers but.....I'm hoping this isn't the game the Donkeys get their s*** together)
Bucs @ Lions (Bucs win easily on their defense)
Falcons @ Saints (Saints win at home after tasting their first victory of the year this past weekend!)
Jets @ Bengals (Who cares!? But the Bungles win at home despite all their shortcomings)
Chiefs @ Raiders (I'm going with the Raiders at home)
Bears @ Eagles (Eagles soar at home)
MNF: Colts @ Jags (My upset special, the Jags defense knows Manning well and will stun the Colts, 24-17, total 41)

RE:Pigskin pick em Week 7
Thanks Raff for the Chiefs plug. My favorite rivalry games are against the Raiders, but that was sweet to get back at the Bungals after Chad Johnson's guarantee a couple years back that took us from 13-0 to an early out in the play-offs.

RE:Pigskin pick em Week 7
I am kind of afraid of the Rams though. Last week the Saints played to their potential for the first time of the season and made us look like school girls. The Rams are also full of talent, they just havnt clicked yet this year. The rams are still battling injury, but lets just hope we dont see a replay from last week.

I'm just not hoping I'm actualy asking for help from the football Gods.Let's hope they don't want a blood sacrifice.Or anything too drastic.:farao:gpc wrote:I am kind of afraid of the Rams though. RE:Pigskin pick em Week 7
I did think about them on Monday before the game because I couldn't win my other pool (took 3rd).lskiles wrote:When I first read this I thought you were going to make your picks for LAST WEEK. LOLfishnislife wrote: I forgot to pick'em last week.

So I was going to try and slip'em in but decided against it.
Hopefully this week will be better than my last ones.
Hey raffensg64, throw up the tallies for the previous weeks winners in your current week picks. I like to see who's won and who's pickin'em good. I good end up with a potential bookie out of this.

RE:Pigskin pick em Week 7
You mean go back Sunday night and edit the picks? It would sure help improve my odds a little. Take away the fun, too.

Great point! Here are our current standings through week 6....remember, we didn't start this until Week 2, hence no Week 1 winner! And I'll update this weekly when posting each new week.
Raff - (2) Weeks 5 and 6
Shawn - (1) Week 4
fishinislife (1) Week 3
lskiles (1) Week 2

RE:Pigskin pick em Week 7
Man that sucks I wanted to see how I did on my picks and I left a game out of my picks. But I wouldn't of picked the Broncos over the steelers anyway.I'll be more careful next time.
