What's the deal with how in all the forum postings, and reports, etc.... how there are words that become "highlighted" as clickable... and then it sends you on some weird search engine search for that word. Example; In a thread the fraze, "Salmon fishing" was posted. It becomes a clickable word. You click it, and go down a rabbit hole on a search engine.
Maybe it's not that big a deal, but it wasn't this way a short time ago. One of those things that makes you feel like the website has fingers reaching into it from dark places.

We don't have anything like that on our site. You've got something going on in your browser.. perhaps a newly installed extension of some sort?
Re: words within forum posts, becoming linkable?
Sounds like you got a new plugin for your browser. Probably from a search engine or downloaded program you installed that piggybacked a plugin on your browser.

Yeah you do, and it works like this. I haven't seen it in any reports, but it's certainly functional in the forums. You can do this two ways, one is to use the URL button above the text box when making a post or reply the other is by typing it out, [ url=add your link ]selected word to refer to link goes here[ /url ]. Extra spaces added between brackets to show the "code".
As many may know, I use this feature all the time.
