Seen on the WDFW site that WL.com has a permit for a trout/panfish/bass tourny for May 23 at Lake Sammamish.

Whats the dealio?

Well, since the "cat's out of the bag", ya Mike, Dez and Myself have been working on this for months. Mike put in the paperwork and dough and we have been approved for May 23rd on Lk Sammamish for a Trout/Bass Derby. This will take the place of the Extravaganza as our annual thing and will only get bigger and bigger in time.
We still have a ton of planning to do and details to work out but our last meeting was great and we got a lot of things in the works. This event is going to be big. But we decided to put it on the back burner for Mike so that he could focus all his energy on the Sportsmans Shows. Once they are done we will be putting all our efferts into making this an amazing, fun event for everyone that participates.
I'll keep the details a secret for now and let Mike do the unvailing.

Bad weekend for me, Memorial day weekend. Will be at the Jamboree on Banks lake that weekend.

Wow the picnic was great fun last year and now a fishing derby too! I hope Bill and I can make the picnic at least but not sure this early in the year. Keep bumping this up to remind us. Thanks you guys for starting to put this together already.

Seriously, right now Aaron and I are 110% working on last minute details of the new site. Our little Derby will have to wait until after the Spokane Show before I can focus on it.

I new it was just a matter of time before this would leak .. No worries if any thing it just gives members more time to plan on attending ..
