If you access from the main parking lot at the fort the trail down is to the right. Once down at the beach you have to go to the left as to the right is a marine sanctuary. If you access through the campground the beach is to the right. Anywhere from the campground to the north beach access is good. There is also fishing south of the boat launch to the pumping station to the south by the sharp corner. Stay away from the pilings just south of the launch as that area is also a sanctuary.

By the way Mirodoni; You are always requesting information and help on where to fish. How about posting some reports on your fishing success? If you keep asking for help without giving some feedback people are going to stop giving you information.

I have an article on page 3 of "Tackle Box Tales" about fishing at Fort Casey that may provide some useful information. The title of the story is "Salt Water Steel." Good luck! BJ

This web site is so big there are resources guys don't know about. I thnk I should do a video demo showing everything.

Bob is correct, and there is another way to search the over TEN YEARS of articles on this site.

From the top Menu tabe, click "Home", then click "Search". Now, enter in what you want to search for. You'll get back results under reports, articles, featured lakes, photos, and topo maps.

This site has a wealth of information buried in it. :dj:

Right out in front of the fort is some good fishing for silvers, casting and retrieving minnow patterns is what alot of the guys do. I've heard you don't have to wade far at all. People have caught fish just feet off shore.
