Hi...You should fish down at the north jetty with clam necks, sand shrimp etc..... To find out a bunch about ocean shores fishing just search... "ocean shores" in the forums ...there are lot's of posts that will help you. Have a good time, Steve
Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

RE:ocean shores fishing and crabbing
a few suggestions:
DO not wade into the surf when surf fishing there. Asking for trouble. There's usually a fisherman or two that drown every year there. Just stand on the beach and run back and forth from the waves.
As I recall, the marina at OS is private, and so you may not be able to get down to the docks with your crab rings. You should be able to use the castable crab snares around the shore/ripraps near the marina, but there may be a lot of small crabs.
There are clams (horse clams, cockles, etc.) in the interior waters of the bay. Just check the WDFW site or the Dept. of Health sites for seasonal closures or red tide.
If I was going to ocean shores, I would surf fish for perch off the ocean beaches, and also try the interior beaches and rip raps on the southern shore.
have fun!
