Looking in the tide book and I noticed some -2.0 plus tides at the end of June. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good beaches to dig some geoducks? Never done it before but would like to go and dig some up next month. Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you looking to go? North or south? Hope Island out by Steamboat in Olympia has a bunch, steamers and oysters too. My family has a private beach over there and we just brought home a haul on Sunday's low tide! There is a list of public geoduck beaches in WDFW's clamming section. They're easy to find, tough to dig. Bring yourself a big metal garbage can and a shovel and prepare to get wet!

Preferably to the southern end. I live 20 miles from the coast so the closer to the Olympia/Tacoma area the better.

Read the current reports section. There is a report for Brinnon (Hood Canal)
