I fish primarily closest to my house, Snake River, Central Ferry. Recently got an Electric motor for the Kayak.
I am getting different answers on whether I'll need to get Kayak licensed if I use the motor. Rules say Federal waterways

As far as I understand it if you're using electric or gas propulsion your craft must be licensed. Snake is considered federal where regulated by dams and locks. You may be able to get away with it, but technically you're required to be licensed. Even kayaks have hull IDs. JMHO.

Yes and yes, if you plan to operate in ID at all you will need to have it licensed for any body of water.
