How many others out there are enjoying their boats (new or not)? I see a lot of great pictures and some nice set ups out there. Of course Aaron is held in suspension right now, just waiting for his newbie to arrive. And Hewesfisher is busy breaking his in. I currently have 5 hrs on the Yama 150 and 3 hrs on the T8. I should be past the critical 10 hrs for both after this coming weekend! :bounce:
Thanks,
Mav

RE:NEW Family Addition (Weldcraft)!
how is that 520 fish finder working
RE:NEW Family Addition (Weldcraft)!
Hey Bads...I really like my 520c. I've coupled it with the Navionics Hot Maps Premium and have been VERY pleased. The transducer stays in contact with the bottom at high speeds as well. For fresh water, it's hard to beat for the price. It offers a little wider cone angle then the 527, which makes for a slightly better (wider) view directly under the boat....the 527 has a narrower cone which reaches further down, but a little more restricted in the shallower ranges. I also have the universal T-junction under the dash which will give me room to expand with other fish finder/navigation equipment later. It was a huge step up from what I had in my other boat. The manual is pretty thick, but not a bad read. I always had a handheld GPS with me before...it has over 100 markers on it...unfortunately, it's a Garmin and I haven’t found a way to transfer the info to my Lowrance mapping feature. You can go to Lowrances website and download a simulator to play with. This helped pass the time while I waited for my Mav to arrive...sad but true! Thanks for the question.
