I need a battery charger that gives a trickle charge...any suggestions?? The one I have right now is not adequate for my current battery...Sam Kafelafish wrote:Derrick K: I have a great little battery for you (and charger) and I'll give you a KILLER DEAL on it if you want it.

Here's mine: 2007 NX750 with 90 optimax. My lovely wife surprised me with it on my birthday. Now if I could just get her to shorten the honey-do list a little so I had some more time to use it.

I bought a Battery Tender plus for $42.00 seems to work good. I like that I don't have to remember to take it off.kuttkilla wrote: I need a battery charger that gives a trickle charge...any suggestions?? The one I have right now is not adequate for my current battery...
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Wow! Your wife surprised you with a new nitro! Your honey-do list must be a book!njrick wrote:Here's mine: 2007 NX750 with 90 optimax. My lovely wife surprised me with it on my birthday. Now if I could just get her to shorten the honey-do list a little so I had some more time to use it.

If I had a boat like that, I wouldn't be too mad at the honey-do list, no matter how long it was. That's a slick ride there...njrick wrote:Here's mine: 2007 NX750 with 90 optimax. For a float/trickle battery maintainer, I took the advice of others on WL.com:Toni wrote:I bought a Battery Tender plus for $42.00 seems to work good. Here is a picture of my New Rogue that I purchased last tuesday. I think that she will get me to the fish no problem. Like I posted in the other forum, I am looking for a good name for her, anyone have any ideas?

RE:Members Boats
here is what gets me on the water...
the 1972 sears SEAKING 12' w/ 3hp yamaha (and two oars that never run out of gas). I have been boarded by the coast guard in this boat on BOTH Lake Superior and the Pacific Ocean (area 7). super light (400lbs with trailer) get's pulled cross country quite often.
And for when i bring guests or a more comfy ride the 16' 1968 starcraft MARINER with 35 johnson.
i pretty much have all the basic fixin's for both (depth finder,DR,trolling moter, ect.) if you ever see either of these boats on the water, make sure to stop and ask how the fishing is. they both have MN registration, so they kinda stick out. Oh, and if you see the little 12'er (the m.v. Shrimp Shrimp as i call it) out by Biz Point rowing....don't worry...i'm o.k., just shrimpin'.

You may need to resize it. 640X480 is a good size for posting.cant sleep wrote:cant get the picture to upload says file is to big?

My all around huntin and fishin rig. A 16' War Eagle LDSV. 60 hp Yamaha 2 stroke, w/ hydro tilt and trim. Live well w/ areator. Handy dandy bilge pump. It has saved my hide a few times in some rough water. Pop on the rest of the grass canopy, and shoot some ducks!! Take it off, replace the decoys with fishin rods, and rip some Bass lips. I was asked on another section of this site how I cast out of it without snagging the grass. No problem, it is low enough. Had a friend of mine fly fishin off the bow last year. The only thing he caught was the tree he was trying to cast under. No trolling motor. So I anchor if I like the place and I keep drifting. Or, just jig along with a slow drift. Just enjoy being out there with ny huntin and fishin buddy Duke.

RE:Members Boats
Just pick up a new boat a Lowe Jon L1436 and put my 2006 Mercury 9.9 hp Outboard converted to 15HP on it.
The boat and trailer was $1900 at the Elephant Boys in Spokane.

RE:Members Boats
Wow! That Lowe Jon L1436 is awesome! When I can afford to upgrade the dinghy, this is definitely a boat that would fit the bill. With a dry weight of 185 lbs, towing it wouldn't take much gas at all compared to a heavy bass boat. The max load capacity of 675lbs is more than enough for me, a fishing buddy, 20hp motor, trolling motor, 2 batteries, and miscellaneous gear. SWEET!
The biggest advantage of jon boats is the shallow draft. On the down-side, when the wind is blowing and waves start getting big, jon boats "rock-n-roll" like crazy!
