running a prop on clearwater and snake in Idaho

I just purchased my second Thunder Jet
A Luxor OB and was wondering if anyone has experience running an outboard prop on The Clearwater and/or Snake Rivers in Idaho
I was told only jet boats but have seen a large number of fishing videos with outboard props on these rivers
I did have one person tell me he launches and uses his kicker to maneuver these waters
would like to take advantage of the salmon and steelhead fishing there
