I'll be in town with my brothers, wondering if there's anything worth fishing for out there this time of year? If so, public shore/dock access would be best for us, though we may have our boat. I'm looking for whatever will give us the best chances for some action as well as the possibility of bringing home some dinner. I've never fished this lake before so thanks in advance for any advice.
Chris

That lake is pretty quiet in the winter in my experience. Shallow and Cold.
I would go Surf Perch fishing if you really want to get into fish. Limit is 15 and they bite consistantly year round!
Use chunks of your Razor Clam necks and a 3 oz pyramid weight.

I fish duck lake usually only during 4th of july week. But this last time I was down there was no bite at all. Not sure if it had to do with them killing off milfoil or however its spelled. The weeds was over running the lake. They dumped some crap in it to kill it off. Took the bite along with it. Im sue you will catch some crappie they are all over the lake. We caught a few LMB in there.

Only ocean fishing would be surf fishing and it is a bit cold and the surf is too high for that.
Duck lake is in Ocean Shores, and the trout have been hitting pretty good lately. Look Duck up in the featured lakes, there is some pretty good info. There are a few public docks you can fish from. Power bait and nightcrawlers have been getting the fish.
