What's up w/ Crockett lake on Whidbey island? Anyone out there fish it? Can you fish there? Thanks.

What I remember of Crockett Lake from many years ago is that it is very shallow, muddy, stinky, etc. I think the water in there may be brackish. Looked like about zero fishing prospects.
