Regulations for fishing in LW

Post by fisherdane » Tue Jun 05, 2007 12:27 am

Hello,

Rookie fisherman here.

I have a map that shows good fishingspots in Lake Washington. One good place for trout is where the Cedar River runs into Lake Washington in the south part of LW. I am however not sure how close I can fish to the shore and river mouth etc. I foud out that I am not allowed within 1000 feet for the salmon run, but are there any restrictions in general? Does the 1000 feet limit apply any time of the year?

Thanks

I didn't see any thing in the regs about how close you can fish to the mouth of the Cedar. Maybe I am missing it. I know that when sockeye season is on they do have a reg about how close you can fish to the mouth of the Cedar. The Cedar mouth is very shallow.
