I want to fish and cook out before/ leading up to fireworks in the tacoma/seattle area. I was looking at some parks on lake washington but all close at dusk, does anyone have any other suggestions/ideas or things you have done in the past? I know gas works park is open on lake union, but im sure its going to be super crowded.
Thanks

The weather might keep people out of the parks, but if the sun comes out don't expect it. I drove past Steel Lake Park in FedWay yesterday evening and cars were parked on the street. That place was standing-room only. I imagine most of the parks are the same way if the sun is out.

Fenwick in Kent hasn't had a lot of people out lately, but the fish haven't been biting there at all from what people are telling me. I took the tube out the other day for bass and only got 2 hits in 2 hours, neither of which were big enough to get a hook in their mouth :(
