Potholes Resevoir-Seep Lakes Ice Off

I've been camping at the Seep Lakes (Canal) near Othello the past 4 days and most of the lakes iced off today with the wind storm. The Pot. Res. went off today. Yesterday it was frozen solid!....first time I've seen it go like that. Sounded like a million wine glasses tinkling together as it went. All the Seep Lakes were frozen when I arrived on Tuesday. Thursday it was dead calm and about 60, so a good portion of Canal and Windmill opened up. About half of Heart Lake is open as of late this afternoon. The wind didn't quite break it apart.
All the walk in lakes, Virgin, Lois, June, N. Windmill, NN Windmill opened 2-3 days ago as did Susan and Katey. Blyth, Chukar and that area went off today. Fishing has been slow. Didn't even fish today in the wind, but caught some nice bows in the walkin lakes yesterday. Hundreds of ducks and geese using the area, most I've ever seen this time of year. The coyotes are thick too and screaming all around on the hills. I haven't seen a tick yet, so those little buggers must still be hiding.
I'm heading to the Quincy lakes tomorrow, so hope they are fishable. Any up date info?
