Anyone Have Tomorrow and Want to Fish the Cedar's Mouth in LW?

Post by AdsBot [Google] » Wed Feb 27, 2008 10:02 pm

Hey guys and gals!

I'm headed out to the Cedar River tomorrow to do some fishing. I'll be out on the water by 9am and in by 5pm. Anyone have the day off and want to join me? The weather is going to turn horrible by Friday-Monday, so this is a great opportunity to get at these 18-20" cutts. If you're interested let me know via PM, or simply respond within this thread. I have one spot, all the gear, and your life vest...just have license! Hope to hear from someone who wants to head out tomorrow...and if you have school...skip it!...haha, it's gunna be 57F and partly sunny, perfect weather for taking out some cutts...it's gunna turn really nasty by the weekend, when I was planning to go out with another member, but tomorrow it is. So I'll be launching in Renton, and will give it a good 8 hours even if I don't hook anything...if you want to learn this fishery...I have a spot. Thanks, cutthroatkiller!

I usually have Thursday off but I said I would work fo someone.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Nah. They asked me more than a month ago and I said yes because they wanted to go to their nieces wedding in AZ. Besides I need the extra money so I can put some gas in my car. Have a great time and take pictures.

I hear ya. With gas up at around $3.40 a gallon, I just might save a little money and launch closer to home to begin with. Diesel is up around $3.80...amazing! Stagflation sucks.

Is it back to the upper 60's now? You guys were stormy down there last week...rainy, blustery, etc. I think the weather is going to turn colder and rainier in the weeks to come (here in Washington), which is not good for warm water species, but good for the cutthroats, so we may end up having to hit the cutts up pretty good...you'll enjoy it.

That's true...but the long-range forecasts put us back to near 48-50F and 38-40F for lows with rain and wind...not so good...but weather is fickle so who knows...it rained today, however and a good sized storm is coming in on Friday and again on Monday...fresh pow atleast!

I'd rather fish more then ski, but a buddy here has a car and a cabin at Tahoe so it's a pretty good deal...

Stagflation?? I haven't heard that term for 30 years. Sounds like we may have an econ major here.

That's a buzzword that's just recently started circlulating regarding the dreaded R word. I've been hearing it on NPR a lot lately.
"My fingers smell fishy and I like it."
