Slow death hooks

Has anyone out there used these slow death hooks?
I just ordered some the other day, couldnt find them in the stores yet.

Have not used them but they will be in my tackle box and tried for walleye!

Never heard of them. The name sounds really morbid. What are they all about?

Haven't used them, but man do they provide a lot of action.

Morbid or not, I may have to try them. I'll bet they work well for trout and bass as well.

I don't think the hook would impart any more action on herring. The reason why it works so well for worms is that the worm is threaded over the hook, and that makes the worm do the roll. I don't think you could rig a herring to do that with those hooks...Best to just stick with a cut plug....
