Folks, I am new to the forum and will be visiting family in Moclips on the Pacific coast in February. I would very much like to "wet a line" during my visit. What are the possibilities? Thanks.

Steelhead abound...Mostly a native show by then. If you've never done steelheading, I'd go with a guide. Going to be hard to catch one if you've never done it.... Should be a few trout lakes you could find if they are open year round..Probably some saltwater bottomfishing if the seasons allow too..

This is the site index for the lakes in Grays Harbor County:

http://washingtonlakes.com/CountyLakeList.aspx?id=13

You can also download the state fishing regs in PDF:

https://fortress.wa.gov/dfw/erules/erules/index.jsp

There is also this info that I found on the areas rivers:

http://www.angelfire.com/wa/nwfishing/r ... ounty.html

Being from the east side of the state, I know very little about the coastal waters, but perhaps this will be a start and of some help. I hope you enjoy yourself while visiting. That region is very pretty.
