Sockeye are starting to hit the lake. As of 6/20 they have put 154 in the lake. I'm ready. [thumbsup]

Well, he'd be catching one about the same weight as a sockeye so winner either way. Congrats.

OK, Were talking Baker, Can someone give me pics and tips on gear. I have a boat and downriggers, just not sure on the flashers/bait/nobait setup. Pics would be best as well as descriptions. I have 2 weekends reserved already as well.

Thanks

Not to blow my own horn, but there are two Baker Lake videos in the video section. Click on the blue Video link above and type in Baker into the search form. They will show up.
And in the fishing reports you can go to Reports, then Baker Lake reports, then use the filter for "salmon". Now you have just salmon reports (sockeye) to read through for tips, locations, etc. If you are a Premium Member you also have access to the gps hot spots BTW.

A wealth of information yours for a bit of research!

There are some achievements which are never done in the presence of those who hear of them. Catching salmon is one, and working all night is another.
