Need some winter fishing advice

Hi all, I am looking for some help on where to go (around Renton) and how specifially to fish this cold season. The lakes I usually go to are Desire, Spring, Washington-Coulon, Angle, fairwood or issaquah... I am usually looking for RB's but I would love to catch really anything. I am only two years into my fishing journey and have only caught about 5 fish over the past two seasons despite spending more than 50 days fishing. Granted when I go out, I am only fishing from shores or boat launches and for no more than two hours at a time. I am having a great time despite the lack of fish.

Normally fishing from bottom with power bait but have tried alot to catch a Bass with spinners, senkos, rapala types and the likes. I am trying to understand what the fish will be doing when it gets real cold out and maybe get some pointers on how to better position myself or my rod during this time where the fish may be acting differently or looking for different kinds of foods. Any help would be really appreciated and even hands on face to face would be great. I am learning and will take all the advice I can, no ego here.

Please help! I need fish in my pan!

Here's a similar request a couple weeks ago, with advice on the local lakes.

For now, go to Beaver lake for the big rainbow hatchery dump! It might be a zoo, but there'll be fish!
