I was wondering if it is legal to catch Salmon in LW? I know that for sockey the Department of Wildlife have to open the season, but what about other Salmon species? I hereby assume that there are other species? When is the best time of the year to catch those Salmon?

Most years silvers open, some years kings. Wouldn't be until Sept I think? You can search lake Washington reports for a wealth of fall salmon reports from years past.

I was under the I 90 bridge on the east side, and I saw a pretty good size salmon clear the water. Pretty cool!

yup, this is one fishery you need to hit the second it opens, just my experience. It seems to get worse very fast and all those jumping fish will drive you nuts!
