Hidden lake near Costco in Tukwila???
Anyone ever heard of the lake behind Costco in Tukwila? It sits right next to the west bank of the Green River at the end of Minkler Blvd. Not sure but it could be run off or just a holding pond.

Wow, I had not even noticed that lake and i've been riding that Green River bike path for a while now. I see it on Google Earth, don't know how i missed it. I'll check it out next time and see what I can find out.

Are you talking about the one behind Target, the "Tukwila Pond" or something like that? Or is there another one.

This would be another one maybe 3-4 blocks SouthEast of that Tukwila Pond. Smaller too.

I just checked out this pond by green river. It actually is connected to the river via a tunnel with a building ontop and grates over the opening. The grates look like they are intended to keep animals in/out and just let water pass between. Also there was alot of scum ontop of the water nearby and that wasn't passing through either, but I could definately hear the water traveling. Perhaps its filtering the runoff in the pond before it enters the river? Oh well, looks like a question for City of Tukwila.
