for boating or dock/shore? For what? Trout?

I've only been dock/shore due to being boatless.

Lake Meridian has a nice dock. Either go early, 7AM-11AM, or go when the weather is bad. Because since it's summer, there's going to be tons of people. Lately, I've been getting skunked there though. It was very productive until a couple of weeks ago for me.

Lake Wilderness. Seems best productive time is early, and late in the evening, after 6PM or so. But it is pretty slow there. Go to the boat launch and then down to the tip area of the lake. The dock is useless.

Lake Morton. Best time for me is, when it's raining, or late. 8PM or so. "Lemon-Lime" powereggs are crack to this lake for some reason.

Lake Sawyer. Very nice lake, but it's mainly a "boating" lake, with tons of jet-skis when the weather is nice. But if you go early, you'll avoid them. There's no dock, but there's several open shore spots left of the boat launch. But there's a $5 parking fee.

Well Lake Sawyer has all 3 of those .. The boating seems to have slacked off just a tad,... The police are really cracking down on them.. Went out there on a sunday was really nice out..Boaters every where.. The police were out on their boat and about an hr later the lake was pretty much clear of boaters .. Ya need some type of boat though .. There just is not much for fishing there from shore .. There lake is deep as well and drops of really fast. You can be in 20 -30 ft of water 20 feet out from shore ...

also, with Sawyer, prepare for lots of snags. I dont know wtf it is. But about 25ft out, you can see a drop off, or some kind of shelf. Reel fast to avoid the snag.
