Can anyone give me directions to the Lk. Washington Ship Canal? I have never fished that area and would like to try it out.

Are going to go by water or fish from shore. In the ship canal proper they may take a dim view of you fishing. One end is by the Northlake Tavern and Ivars Salmon house and the other is at Husky Stadium. Most of it is cement walls.

Park near the Montlake bridge and take a chair and walk down the stairs there's a cement walkway from Lk WA to Lk Union on both sides. fish close to the wall, you won't get a lot of sympathy from the boaters. Or go to the arboretum and find a place on on of the bridges or open spots. It should be a nice day to watch the procession of boaters back and forth.
