Tiger Mountain - Round Lake and Tradition Lake

Post by Matt19 » Wed Oct 22, 2008 7:04 pm

Is anyone familiar with these two lakes at Tiger Mountain near Issaquah? I was out there last weekend and Round Lake is completely dried up. It is just a grassy/muddy meadow now. Tradition Lake looked much smaller than I remember and appears to be way down as well. Years ago, Round Lake used to produce some bass and perch. Good thing I didn't haul my float tube in there this time.

I think Tradition is open for fishing. There are some reports in the King County section for it. It sounds like there can be some decent bass and perch fishing in it. Bring a raft or float tube.

Bodo,

No kidding about time flying! I remember when Issaquah was "in the sticks"!

Thanks guys. Tradition still looks fishable, but I'm worried it may be going the way of Round Lake. I think the last time I was at Round Lake was about 2 years ago and it was full then so it was just weird to see it totally gone now.
