Just wondering if any had been out to the boat launch down past Spokane house. Last time I was out there it was flooded out, but I know that they lowered and raised again. so I wanted to know if the launch and dock was usable again... Thanks

RE:Nine mile launch question...
ProP, that launch is still running pretty fast, and it is advisable to skip that and come down to the Ninemile Resort launch (now a state park, and run by the state). The fees are the same, the launch is considerably better. I wouldn't recommend launching at Spokane house in general now that the resort is public. If the resort is over capacity and closed, hit the Spokane house launch, but it would be best to wait until around the middle of july if you don't want to fight the currents.

as gisteppo said, the current is running considerably fast right now, I just drove there a couple hours ago to check it out. The dock is now above water and the restriction is lifted. The BLM is open as well but I've never launched there so I don't know the cost.

RE:Nine mile launch question...
thanks for the info. I was actually looking at taking the daughter out to fish from the dock. Current may still be too much for that.
On a side note, I watched a young guy in a beautiful Ranger try to pull into the Spokane house launch when the current was running.... really made me pucker to hear all that sexy fiberglass crunching and cracking when he slipped hard into the dock.
9 Mile is definitely the better launch. Thanks for the info!!!!!!
