That's always good to know.#-o

sounds like the times when ppl try and tell me there are smallmouths in lacamas lake......when they are mistaking largemouths for them. and they call me a crappy fisherman for never catching a smallmouth out of a lake with a smallmouth population of zero!

wow
haha reminds me of the other day when this guy was trying to tell me there are smallmouth in trout lake in federal way, i told him there was only largemouth in there, he continues to tell me that he has never seen a lm in the lake. so i showed him a video i had on my phone of a three pounder i caught at the launch last. i gave up when he tried tellin me it was a smallmouth. funny thing is he only fishes for trout lol.

Not to jump on your back fishingmachine but you do not need to post a reply saying "sent pm please reply"

People will be notified when they get PM's and they will reply to them.
Glad your the one who said it. I was getting frustrated with reading that same thing in just about every thread I read lately. PM sent. I guess for some it means more posts. :-"

So what is this thread about again? It gone down so many side streets I can't remember. Oh ya, the article on Steelhead fishing in LK WA.

Sorry Kutt, I just realized my typo. It has been edited. Didn't mean to piss ya off. I was being facetious.

Hey Kevin. Whenever you want. Let me know. I can accomodate. I want to get my 6 pack license...extensive work, but it'd be tight.
Back when I was young we didn't need to study to get a six pack. We only needed to be 21. The police preferred we didn't drive when we had a six pack.

6 pack is a type of Captain's license FYI...

I'm pretty sure zen leecher's being sarcastic though...

FYI, just in case you need it ... at Fish Consumption Advisories for WA for Lake Washington, I just learned:
Cutthroat trout greater than 12” eat no more than 1 meal per month, less than 12” eat no more than 3 meals per month.
I had read about the Yellow Perch warning, but not the cutthroat one.

+1 to what Kuttkilla said. Exactly right.

Except the sea lion is now the top predator in the lake (grin).

Squaw fish are the top dogs of the lake. They are depleating our natural salmon and trout populations at this very second. Not to mention making short work of our bass, perch and crappie as well

Actually, this statement is false. A study undertaken by UW and NOAA Fisheries was conducted in where they mentioned that the cutthroat trout had overtaken the squaw as the more prevalent species in the lake. However, I do agree with them being a "pesk" and eating salmon smolt and trout fingerlings, but then again, so do cutthroat...

Yeah but squaw fish serve absolutely no purpose to us fisherman. At least the cutts make for a fun fishery. And squaw fish dont migrate out to sea like a lot of the cutts. All year long they eat game fish smolt..... and thats about it
