I've wanted to fish Rufus for triploids in warm weather for a few years.
I called around today and can't find a guide until mid July.
By then it will be to hot to be in a boat for 8 hours on the water.
Yes I'm a pussy!!! But it is my money after all.
Tried Big Wally's and Darrelanddad.
Anyone have any other guide idea's?

Re: Rufus Woods Triploid Charter Boat
If you want to catch big fish, I'd go in the winter.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

northfork have you fished there before?
Re: Rufus Woods Triploid Charter Boat
Guys I have fished there many times before in the winter.
Biggest out of there was a hair over 13#.
Use to have a boat and fished Rufus with my brother and nephew in a snowstorm.
That was the trip my nephew got the nickname "Drwell" Woke him up to fish and he had drwell running down his chin.
As I get towards my senior years I have a tendency to fish in warmer weather with more creature comforts.
Have you guys ever fished Roosevelt for the big Kokanee?
I might check into a charter on that body of water. Never fished it before.

I've been there a couple of times in the winter but the most i caught was the one time in the summer. I live fishing it just long way to go. And I absolutely prefer warm weather.
