I'm so confused...
So is there any change in the status of non-salmon fishing on Lake Washington and Sammamish?

Not yet, the agreement was reached, but still needs the Fed approval, which WDFW said should be within a couple weeks. Then they close again in Sept-Oct.

According to the written agreement, the fishery will only be closed to salmon and gamefish. So technically, one should still be able to pursue the almighty carp, crayfish and frog in these waters. However, I'm betting our wonderful fisheries department will simply close it down completely.
