This lake is not too far and I've never fished it, and wanted to try before things got too cold; however no boat so is there any places to fish from shore or the bridge? Also, if I could get my hands on a small rowboat, is there a good/public place to launch? Thanks,
Chris

RE:Shore fishing from Lake Steilacoom?
There is a public launch but theres no parking its in a residential area. Turn left just before you cross the bridge on steilacoom boulevard and you will see the launch area. Someone will have to drop you off and pick you up. you can however fish from the bridge, i'vce caught large bows up to 4 lbs, LMB, Perch, bluegill, and a huge carp. I haven't fished there in like 3 years though. Theres a little parking spot near the bridge and the bridge has cut outs for fishermen. Just watch out for the water skiiers and jet skiiers.
