Looking for a spot for me and my buddy and our families to fish for bows

I've posted a couple a weeks back about this topic and got some great responses, thank you to those who did reply. Now I'm asking again. My buddy and I have been planning for awhile to get our families together, and this weekend its happening. We hit Offutt and had decent luck once we rented a boat, but now we are looking for a good place with lots of public shore access thats within the Thurston/Pierce Counties area. This time we can't take a boat because we will have the kids with us. If anyone could hook me up with a great lake thats been catching good I would appreciate it.

Bows from shore this time of year is going to be tough unless you like to hike. With the water temps climbing into the 70s the trout are headed to the cooler waters found in the deeper parts of the lake. Offhand, I can't think of any lake that fits the bill, though I'm sure there are a few. You might try targeting spiny rays and catfish, there are plenty of places where you can catch them from shore this time of year, American Lake comes to mind.
