Just curious as to how many folks on the west side of the state fish for Walleyes. My walleye partner sold out and moved back to Minnesota, like they got any lakes in that state. :compress:
I still plan on maybe making a trip over to Banks Lake once or twice this year. I talked with a guy who was there on Saturday and nothing has changed. Walleye fishing is still hot. The only thing wrong with Walleye fishing in this state is that its all on the other side of the state or down by Oregon. Regardless, I am still going. If anyone is interested let me know.
Good fishing.

I fish the Columbia River witha guide once a year. I haven't had a shot at those Eastern Washington walleye, but the more I visit this site, the more I want to. Still in the infancy of the learning process, hence the guide.

I get out occassionally. My favorite place used to be Sprague Lake because that's where I caught my first walleye.

I havn't been out walleye'n since June at Potholes. My youngest boy and I didn't do very well but caught a few out of Lind Coulee Arm. Early Spring we hit Rosevelt in the Spokane arm before it closes and do about as good. Right now I've been busy with his football and working my two jobs so I havn't been fishing much lately. A question for you Joe,,, Is Chad and Bear coming back in the spring or are they staying in Minnesota? I read the NW walleye site alot and was just courious??:-k

Well if the snacks stay plentiful Bear will stay put. His mind is one way and always has been one way. It really depends on how Chad's business does. If you met him you can't help but wish he makes it big. Right now he is insulating his shop out there. That might be a good plan before the beautiful Minnesota chill sets in for the winter.
I know he said his job told him that he is welcome back. So if things don't go smoothly he may come back. I believe his dream is to have it boom so big that he can just hire a guy to do it for him and he can come back here and fish. Its nice to dream.
Right now it is his intentions to come to the Feb Freezeout at Rufus Woods.

Also my cousin sometimes will guide up in South Dakota on the Missouri River. He says that a lot of those guys (not him) go to Idaho Walleye fishing and catch monsters. Where would that be or is that a hush hush operation? :compress:

Must be on the Snake Resiviors (spelling) down in Southern Idaho. The only place up here is in Pond oreille and there really isn't enough of them (walleye) to constitute a fishery. I have been out trying for them there but havn't had any luck. A couple guys here at work have caught a few incedently while Bass fishing though.
