1/8 or 1/16 oz white jigs.
And fish near branches that are in the water,
or fallen trees,etc.
Not positive but i think Lake Washington has Crappie in it.
#1 Rule. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO GET SNAGGED.
Good Luck !

You and thousands of other anglers! The places that you are going to find crappie in Lake Washington, Lake Union and Lake Sammamish are best fished by boat due to the limited shore access. If you do find a spot from shore, for heaven's sake don't tell anyone. Unless of course your goal is to remove all the crappie from that spot.

I hear you man about keeping those spots secret. Well do you know of any other lakes that hold them, smaller lakes.

if you want to make a drive, then Harts lake out in yelm has them and at dusk they're easy to catch from shore. Use a small bobber and a 1/16 oz white jig with a crappie nibble, cast it out twitch it back and you're gonna get some. The only downside is they run a bit on the small size out there (the bigger ones are about the size of your hand).

Larson lake in bellevue. Its no longer my secret crappie spot haha. You can walk around the whole lake catching crappie in and around the lillies. Most people fish the sunken forest for them on wawa.

Just messing with you. Sunken forest requires a big boat and a good ff.

I caught some lake WA crappie years ago fishing from shore along the road walkway at Juanita Bay. There's a starting spot for you. You can either park at the old golf course parking area and walk north, or park down closer to 116th and walk south along it.

Bobber and jigs is what I used.

I would say yes. I have watched people eat fish from far worse. Like I said I have eaten them before. I thought they were fine but I prefer bluegill and perch.

Does anyone know if a float tube is permissible on Larson Lake? I have seen conflicting information.
