about 8" rainbow. my biggest out of a river this year, caught him last saturday. he's a little blury because he was jumping out of my hands and back into the river right as my brother snapped the picture:

this isn't the largest trout but it is my largest trout that I've caught on a fly and it is also my first fish I've caught on a dry fly.

Well...here's a picture of my wife (Mav186 1/2) with her Lake Sammamish WL.com Derby winners. Since there were no other trout taken for the day, you're looking at the 1st and 2nd place prize winners! The larger Rainbow went 18" weight 2# and the smaller was 16" and 1.5#. These are her PB so far this year! And yes...that smile lasted well into the evening! :compress:

Went for the hot dogs and came home with Dinner and $100 in her pocket, Nice!

Great job being her fishing guide for the day Mav ... LOL. Honestly great to meet you both and congrats on the awesome fish. Also that was cool that she gave up her second place prize to be given away later to someone else.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

The biggest fish of my Montana trip, 24" Middle Yellowstone Brown. Caught on a Triple Decker and 5X tippet. And I don't even like the Jellystone:-s.
