when do they open up?

seasons or ability to get to them? They use the standard regs, as far as getting to them, depends on how much snow we got in the winter, elevation, and whether the lake is north or south facing.csteffens wrote:when do they open up?
I would say the lower elevation lakes 2,000 ft or so will be open early to mid June. Higher elevation lakes probably mid-July-ish.

is a great source for hiking info, including directions and hiking reports (kinda like the WL.com of hiking). You can check for hiking reports and get an idea if the lake you want to check out is snow free or not.

i was wondering the season for them,i didntthink thet opened when the lowland lakes opened up?

High lakes are Year round, unless specified.
